Props to StubHub
When a company does something wrong, bloggers love to hit them. But you don’t see enough unsolicited blog posts about companies that do things right. I have never bought tickets to anything outside of official channels. But I wanted to see the Rockies in the playoffs, so I bought tickets through StubHub.com. I was very impressed by their professionalism. The Web site worked well, and their system of getting the tickets to you worked perfectly. Best of all, I was able to see my team win the Pennant because of them. Just felt like they deserved some praise. I’ll use them again.

Last time I bought tickets from StubHub for $420, I gave the tickets away to my parents as a present.
My parents went to the theater.
Someone else showed up with the same tickets, to the same seats.
David: What was the result? Did you get your money back? Did they determine that the seller had sold you bad tickets?
thanks…
Stubhub has yet to send me back my unused tickets to a major league baseball playoff game.
In order to get a refund I need the ‘hard’ tickets back from stubhub. Their company policy states that tickets will be returned to a seller if a game is canceled. There simply keep giving me the runaround.
It’s now been 8 weeks and it looks like they want to keep my $160. I would not sell another ticket with this company, they cannot be trusted!
