Just read your interview and I wonder if you elaborate on the fact that the “mothership” gives Director little/no promotion anymore. How close are we to seeing Director slip into an “Authorware type” product placement. I know the hearts of Tom Higgins and Emmy Huang are in the right spot, pushing Director as much as possible, but if the Upper Management is anti-Director, how much farther can we expect to go? I don’t mean to sound so bleak, just remembering reading online a paraphrase to the effect of “we’ll squeeze Director developers for every last dime we can…”
