More visible changes this morning. Macromedia’s Web site looks more or less the same, but the <title> tags show “Adobe - Macromedia…”. The top item at Adobe’s homepage is Adobe completes acquisition of Macromedia. Adobe’s store pages include Studio 8 for sale, plus links to Macromedia’s store. As Casey points out in a comment to my previous post, even Director is mentioned at Adobe’s site now.
Oh, and also, MACR is no longer a valid stock symbol. Goodbye MACR.

“…even Director is mentioned at Adobe’s site now.”
Try as I might, I can’t find it (other than a link to the MM products page). Link please?

Director product info is still on the “old?” Macromedia site, but if you look in Adobe’s Store under the Help and eLearning section, it’s for sale there.

I’m wondering what’s going to happen to all the Shockwave 10 Year Anniversary promotion stuff Tom Higgins was talking about in his blog. Wasn’t that supposed to be rolled out Dec. 1st? I hope it’s just pushed back a bit due to the timing, basically falling on acquisition day.

There it is. Hopefully Adobe will find a appropriate category to list Director.
